Has anyone heard of this Ebay seller?

Hello,

I was curious to know if anyone in this group had heard of Inferis, S.C.P. ?
They are offering quite a few things on Ebay that might or might not be
authentic. Since I'm a novice at these things, I'm not sure what to look
for when spotting a forgery.

The particular auction item I'm looking at is:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3359740989&category=60&rd

I've emailed the seller asking for the location where this was signed and
his/her UACC number, but are there other registered dealerships that people
might belong to?

Thanks for any help, Jennifer

I've never heard of them before but the Tapping, Judge, and Nemic sigs
look good compared to my in person sigs and Tapping's official signed
trading card.

Bidder ID is kept private, rock bottom low minimum bids, they have multiple
items signed by Ms. Spears, and they are selling all cast signed posters
without any of them missing signatures. All the signatures are all with
crossed t's and dotted i's with full signatures and not one shred of photos
signing or proof that they were obtained in person. I haven't heard of this
seller but I've heard of their kind!

Every one of the seller's items I've looked are forged beyond a doubt. Gotta
agree with AutographPros.com. They definitely based them on real signatures,
but they are all obvious fakes. Don't bid!

Thanks so much for all the help with this one. I have yet to hear back from
the seller and with the suggestions, plus my gut feeling that they are
fakes - I'll take the groups advice on this one :)

BTW - if anyone does have a poster with sg1 autos that *is* real - I'm
interested.

Thanks again for all the help, Jen

Hi guys

the sigs of most of the cast look ok but I would be very careful when
it has a RDA sig. Make sure you can get a reply on when or where it
was signed particularly by RDA.
I had Amanda Tapping as a guest at one of my conventions. We spoke
about autographs etc and she was pretty adament that RDA will only
sign items for a charity and they go through a huge amount of scrutiny
by him before he signs anything.

Thanks for the info. I actually received a reply from the seller giving me
dates and locations of where the poster was signed, so I'm wondering if it
really is legit. Now I'm thinking about bidding again. It might be
authentic.

I'm lucky enough to have a family friend who had RDA sign a photo for me for
Christmas last year - it was a great gift! But I've always wanted a poster
signed by the whole case, so it's very tempting.

Still waffling,

very surprised about the rda info. he's very nice in person. never had a
problem with him ever. he's always been cool and i've never seen him picky
about items to sign or anything. so it's an odd story to hear....maybe that's a
ttm thing, i don't know.
