The value was 98% for the book. I still have people giving me updates
of Stan signing TTM. Just send an item and SASE. The problem is that
the buyer, if he ever decides to resell the book, now has a select
audience. I know this from working in a collectibles store. A lot of
collectors consider a comic book or a trading card, that has been
signed, to now be devalued. I'm positive that he could find a buyer
further down the road, especially if, God forbid, something happens to
Stan. I haven't seen an Overstreet Guide for comics in ages, but for
$850.00, the comic must have been in good/fair grade condition. I do
remember that a near mint copy of #1 was valued at over $45,000.00 in
2002/2003.

Yeah, not all things may be devalued if signed (I do know some do not
like graphs on cards and such and will consider it ruined). I think
Stan might be the one exception if there was one. He's so iconic it
might not hurt it. I guess that's like that book I bought then. I
know nothing about the comic world really (though I have a dozen or so
Star Wars comics signed).

45 grand? Damn, I need to start collecting that... LOL
