Considering putting little movie clips on my family site. Has anyone
ever done this? I know it takes up a lot of room, but give you a
remembrance of what band they are (some people don't put songs/bands
together sometimes). I've love to see the set up anyone may have.

Anyway, attended American Music Fest last night to see Starship (saw
the local band before them Triple Shot as well - have seen them
before).

Graphs would probably be easy to get. I didn't try (already have
Mickey). However, for those going there tonight and tomorrow, here's
the deal... they come out the hotel door next door (this was on the
17th street stage) - it's only a few feet from the stage and the car
that takes them away is only 5 feet from the little steel barricade so
you can yell at them from the back or side of the stage. Don't bother
going to the front or left side facing the front (there's a lot more
space and they'd have to jump down). The 5th street stage is the most
difficult to get. The 24th street is very easy to get stuff
there....They don't barricade at all but they come out the back, so
head to the right side, there's a door in the fence... they hang out
right there.

Forgotten the story about Mickey Thomas and what happened to the
group. I thought there was an issue with him and Grace Slick fighting
for the spotlight, but according to Mickey's site, he only boarded
AFTER Grace left? I didn't think he did though as I remember the "We
Built This City" era was both of them right? Anyone remember the
story? What DID happen to Grace? Nothing from her in many years...

Anyway, photos and possibly clips will be on the site or if not, maybe
I'll do my first YouTube Uploads and just put a link on my site pages.
Go to www.dahoovsplace.com and pick concerts probably tomorrow. I
have things to do today and might not get them online till then.

PS On the Tattoo front, found out you can't get them on the beach.
Anyone know why? They said they aren't allowed to (all they had were
paint on stands).

I would have guessed that it's due to not being sterile?

Afterall it is a minor operations with blood etc...

Yeah, but the tatooing would be in shops, indoors? Not actually ON
the beach (sorry, should have clarified). VA Beach is a boardwalk
with a street that runs close to 40 blocks of various shops... there's
a few "henna" places, but no permanent tatoo places are allowed to
rent shops there.

I would think that it is anything from health code to zoning laws to
property owner decision. Henna is nothing more than face painting
that lasts a few weeks. If the boardwalk is a family atmosphere,
tattooing is probably shied away from because of the stigma
surrounding it. Just some thoughts. :-)

Could be zoning laws... the family thing too (though there are some
"clubs" there as well).

Anyway you put it they suck, they have for some time.
Grace Slick wouldn't embarrass herself with this washed up 80's garbage.
She paints now.
Who would waste their time on this crap ?
Someone with a lot of time.
