What got you started in the Hobby?

For me-it was the help of my friend Joey, and Gary Carter coming to Norfolk
in 1989 for Mets rehab on the knee.

Gary spent 3 days down here, and i got a baseball, a magazine and several
cards signed by him. One of the nicest baseball stars out there! From then
on it's been non-stop!

For me, I got started when I got a typed letter signed by then
Governor Jimmy Carter while I was
in the hospital. That was back in 1975. Then I started with getting
an autograph from William Golding (Lord of the Flies author).
